I was a bit skeptical when a friend of mine suggested to go on a trip to Albania and Croatia; these underrated gems didn’t catch Google searches and eventually my attention easily. But now my heart keeps telling me to visit Balkans every once in a while. I went on a road trip to Albania (Tirana, Sarandë, and Shkodër) and Croatia (Dubrovnik) in June ’21. In August ’21, I took a trip to Serbia, but ended up mostly working on the trip. Finally, in October ’21 , I took a road trip to Montenegro (Perast, Durmitor National Park). The people I went with and the countries I visited made all the trips memorable.
